Key Market Insights at a glance:

• Strong Interstate Interest: We’re seeing 26.5% of buyer inspections from outside their home state—that’s an impressive one in four buyers looking over state lines.
• Sunshine Coast Shines: A solid 34.0% of buyer inspections came from interstate in October, coupled with a near-record-breaking 9.2% international interest.
• Gold Coast Leads: Keeping its top spot, the Gold Coast attracted 35.0% of interstate buyer inspections and 8.5% from overseas buyers.
• Brisbane Breaks Records: October was a banner month for Brisbane, with interstate buyer inspections peaking at 28.9%, up from 25.6% in September, complemented by a 7.3% international interest.
• Melbourne’s Steady Climb: There was a slight uptick to 22.1% in interstate buyer inspections, from 21.8% in September. However, international interest dipped to 6.1%.
• Perth’s Promising Performance: Interstate interest has increased to 26.2% from 24.1% in September, marking October as the second-strongest month for Perth in 2023, with international interest climbing to 7.0%.
• Sydney’s interstate buyer interest numbers dipped slightly in October, from 13.3% to 12.3%. Meanwhile, international interest picked up traction, rising from 5.9% in September to 7.0% in October.
