- Brisbane: Digital inspection interest hit 21%, meaning over 1-in-5 people inspected from interstate. International interest saw a slight uptick to 8.8%, suggesting Brisbane’s global appeal is climbing.
- Gold Coast: Continues to lead the way as the clear favourite for interstate migrants, with a whopping 31.2% of digital inspections originating from outside the state. International interest stood at 7.8%, reflecting the Coast’s appeal to overseas buyers.
- Sydney: Shows promising growth, with interstate interest reaching just over 1-in-10 people, or 10.2%. International interest was recorded at 7.4%, indicating Sydney’s sustained global attraction despite increasing property prices.
- Melbourne: Interstate interest dipped to 18.3%, down from April’s 21%. International interest held steady at 6.1% in May.
- Perth: Another great month for the West, with 26.3% of digital inspections from outside WA and 5.1% from international buyers. This trend highlights Perth’s growing attraction as an affordable alternative to eastern state capitals.
