Highlights:
- Sunshine Coast: Remains a magnet for state-changers, with 28.3% of inspections coming from interstate and 8.2% from overseas in June. The city’s lifestyle appeal continues to draw significant interest from both domestic and international buyers.
- Brisbane: Digital inspection interest rose to 23%, meaning nearly 1-in-4 people inspected from interstate. International interest held steady at 8.5%, proving Brisbane’s global appeal remains strong.
- Gold Coast: Continues to lead the way as the clear favourite for interstate migrants, with a substantial increase to 35.9% of digital inspections originating from outside the state. International interest also saw a significant jump to 10.5%, reflecting the Coast’s growing appeal to overseas buyers.
- Sydney: Shows a slight increase in interstate interest, reaching 11.6%. However, international interest decreased to 5.5%.
- Melbourne: Interstate interest slightly decreased to 17.8%. International interest also saw a minor dip to 5.8% in June.
- Perth: Another great month for the West, with 24.6% of digital inspections from outside WA, though this is a slight decrease from the previous month. International interest, however, saw a significant increase to 9.2%, highlighting Perth’s growing attraction to overseas buyers.
