Here’s how each region performed:
Sunshine Coast: Interstate inspections eased to 23.7% (-1.7%), coming down from May’s peak. International interest grew to 4.8% (+0.4%), continuing the upward trend from previous months.
Gold Coast: Interstate demand slipped to 21.9% (-0.9%), marking a steady decline from recent highs. International inspections dropped to 5.1% (-0.5%), reversing May’s modest gains.
Brisbane: Interstate inspections bounced back to 24.3% (+0.8%), recovering from May’s dip. International interest grew to 6.1% (+0.8%), showing consistent growth over recent months.
Melbourne: Interstate demand climbed to 18.4% (+1.7%), continuing the gradual recovery from previous lows. International inspections fell to 3.7% (-0.5%), marking the lowest point in recent months.
Perth: Interstate inspections remained strong at 39.7% (-5.6%), though down from May’s exceptional peak. International activity dropped to 6.1% (-1.2%), but Perth continues to lead in out-of-state activity nationally.
Sydney: Interstate interest dropped further to 11.2% (-3.4%), continuing the decline from earlier peaks. International inspections rose to 13.2% (+1.6%), maintaining Sydney’s position as the top choice for overseas interest.
