Digital rental property inspections in November show more people looking at properties from outside their home state, with the national average rising to 24.5% (up 1.5% from October). International viewings remained stable at 8.7% (down 0.5%). Here’s how each region performed:

  • Sunshine Coast: Most popular for interstate renters with 28.6% of viewings (+3.4%) coming from other states, while international interest sat at 6.9% (+1.8%).
  • Gold Coast: Remained strong but cooled slightly with 27% interstate viewings (-5%) and 8.5% international interest (-3.1%).
  • Perth: Attracted more interstate renters at 24.7% (+2.6%) with international viewings rising to 7.8% (+2%).
  • Brisbane: Drew steady interest from other states at 24% (+1.9%) while international viewings dropped to 6.2% (-2.7%).
  • Melbourne: Saw more interstate interest at 23.9% (+2.6%) with international viewings at 10.7% (-2.2%).
  • Sydney: Attracted the most international interest at 12.2% (+0.8%) and saw interstate viewings climb to 19% (+3.4%).
