Digital property inspections in March highlight shifting tenant trends, with interstate demand increasing to 22.8% (+0.8%), while international interest grew slightly to 10.5% (+0.1%) compared to February.

 

Here’s how each region performed:

  • Sunshine Coast: Interstate demand dropped to 19.3% (-8.1%), reflecting a notable decline in interest from out-of-state tenants compared to February. International interest decreased to 7.7% (-2.8%), showing a slight reduction in overseas interest for rentals.
  • Gold Coast: Interstate inspections remained stable at 24.4% (+0.8%), continuing to show solid interest from out-of-state tenants. International demand saw a slight increase to 9.3% (-0.1%).
  • Brisbane: Interstate inspections remained stable at 18.9% (-1.7%), reflecting slight cooling in demand compared to February. International inspections increased to 8.4% (-1.1%), showing a decline in overseas tenant activity.
  • Melbourne: Interstate demand saw a marked increase to 26.3% (+4.2%), showing strong interstate tenant activity. International interest grew to 13.1% (+4.9%), signaling a rebound in overseas tenant demand compared to February.
  • Sydney: Interstate interest decreased slightly to 8.2% (-3.6%), indicating a softening in interstate demand. International interest grew to 23.1% (+6.3%), reflecting a significant increase in overseas tenant activity.
  • Perth: Interstate demand increased to 24.7% (+3.1%), continuing to show strong interstate activity. International buyer activity saw a minor drop to 16.5% (+3.4%).
