Nationwide, August saw a slight dip in remote rental inspections, with interstate interest averaging 21.98% (down from 22.3% in July) and international interest at 9.7% (down from 10.1%), setting the stage for varied regional performances.

• Gold Coast: Interstate interest increased to 30.3% from 28.2%, while international interest slightly decreased to 9.7% from 10.5%.
• Sunshine Coast: Saw a decline in both interstate (22.6% from 24.6%) and international (7.5% from 11.3%) interest.
• Perth: Experienced a decrease in interstate inspections to 20.7% from 24.3%, and international interest dropped to 6.1% from 7.5%.
• Brisbane: Interstate interest slightly decreased to 21.7% from 23.6%, but international interest surged to 11.4% from 8.1%.
• Melbourne: Saw a notable increase in interstate inspections to 24.7% from 21.8%, while international interest slightly decreased to 10.2% from 12.8%.
• Sydney: Continued its decline in interstate inspections to 11.9% from 13.9%, but saw a significant rise in international interest to 13.4% from 10.6%.
