Digital property inspections in March highlight shifting buyer trends, with interstate demand increasing to 23.0% (+1.0%), while international interest slightly grew to 7.3% (+0.2%) compared to February.

Here’s how each region performed:

  • Sunshine Coast: Interstate demand dropped to 20.8% (-3.0%), reflecting a minor decrease in interest from out-of-state buyers compared to February. International interest slightly declined to 4.3% (-0.2%).
  • Gold Coast: Interstate inspections dropped to 26.3% (-5.0%), marking a decrease from February’s high interstate demand. International demand remained stable at 6.0% (no change), showing consistent overseas interest.
  • Brisbane: Interstate inspections rose to 26.1% (+4.1%), showing a significant increase in domestic interest. International interest decreased slightly to 6.0% (-0.4%), suggesting a slight softening in overseas demand.
  • Melbourne: Interstate demand remained relatively stable at 18.9% (-0.9%), with a slight decrease in external buyer activity compared to February. International inspections saw a modest increase to 5.6% (+1.5%).
  • Perth: Interstate demand grew significantly to 27.8% (+7.1%), continuing to show strong appeal to out-of-state buyers. International activity saw a slight decline to 8.2% (-1.0%).
  • Sydney: Interstate interest increased to 17.9% (+3.5%), showing a strong recovery from February’s lower levels. International demand rose to 13.6% (+1.4%), reflecting a slight rebound in overseas buyer interest.
