The Wrap Up
Digital inspections in July recorded a slight dip in remote buyer activity nationwide, with interstate demand easing to 21.5% (–1.7%) and international interest holding steady at 6.3% (+0.2%). While demand has decreased slightly, serious buyers from across the country and overseas remain active.
Here’s how each region performed:
- Sunshine Coast: interstate inspections eased to 21.7% (–2.0%) in July, with international interest also down to 4.0% (–0.8%). Despite the drop, the region continues to attract lifestyle-focused buyers.
- Gold Coast: nudged upward with 22.4% of inspections from interstate buyers (+0.5%). International demand dipped slightly to 4.7% (–0.4%), but overseas eyes remain on the beachfront.
- Brisbane: brisbane continues to pull steady interest across the board. 23.7% of inspections came from interstate (–0.6%), while international demand held strong at 6.0% (–0.1%). No dramatic shifts.
- Melbourne: buyer activity in Melbourne eased, with interstate views down to 16.6% (1.8%) and international interest slipping to 4.0% (0.7%). While momentum has slowed, the city continues to attract steady attention.
- Perth: still a standout, Perth saw the highest share of interstate views at 33.4%, even with a notable dip (–6.3%). International interest climbed to 6.8% (up 0.7%), showing the west coast continues to attract attention both locally and abroad.
